Apart from the sea, Burgas also offers relaxation in a swimming pool with mineral water
The outdoor pool in the "Vetren" Sports Complex "Mineral Baths" is fed by the mineral spring Aquae calidae, around which the Romans built a large bathing complex in the 1st century. The healing properties of water have been known since ancient times, and its natural temperature is close to that of the human body.
The swimming pool is open from 8 am to 8 pm every day until the end of summer.
It is used both for training activities by Burgas sports clubs and for relaxation – by Burgas citizens and its visitors.
There is a regular bus line travelling there, No. 3, going through the main bus stops in town.
The Burgas mineral SPA is located among greenery and calm. This is one of the oldest SPA centres in Bulgaria. The mineral water, which spring there is suitable for the treatment and prophylactics of a number of illnesses and has a beneficial effect on the general health of the organism.
Prices for visiting the swimming pool "Mineral Baths" for the whole day:
- adults - BGN 6.00
- pupils, students and pensioners - BGN 4.00.
- Children up to 7 years with a parent or adult companion - BGN 3.00.
