With its golden sands of almost 2 km, the Central Beach in Burgas is a favourite place for citizens and visitors alike. Whether you want to rest or just spend your free time there, the beach is pleasant for swimming or tanning under the bright sun rays.
The central beach attracts people not only with its spacious strip, reaching a width of up to 30m, but also with it location. It is located immediately next to the Burgas Lighthouse, as well as to one of the greenest and most pleasant places in the city – the Seaside Park. Throughout the year, both the park and the beach are quite busy and definitely worth visiting. It is exactly here, where the biggest musical festival in Bulgaria – Spirit of Burgas, takes place every year; it gather its audience and artists from around the world. The central beach is also an arena for numerous prestigious sport competitions of national and international nature.
The beach strip is kept clean and is processed by special methods so that the local citizens and visitors can fully enjoy their stay. Qualified life guards take care of the safety of swimmers, watching over the sea strip from their specifically build watch posts.
The central beach is equipped with showers and changing facilities for the convenience and comfort of its visitors; the parasols and sun beds are free.
The beach is also equipped with various courts – for volleyball, football, beach tennis, where the more energetic visitors can engage in sports under the sun rays and vary their stay in a healthy and fun way.
