Burgas will host of the 8th time the parade for retro vehicles. On the event are expected more than 100 luxurious, old cars and 20 motorcycles from Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece and Serbia. Actors, dressed in costumes from the 40`s , will present the authentic vehicles at the event, which will be held in front of the Sea casino.
A fully restored “Steyr” from 1939 will be presented for the first time. Residents and guests of Burgas will have the chance to examine closely the smallest model of BMW and the legend for the near past in rally competitions – Lancia 037, winner of the World rally championship in the 80`s.
A collector from Sliven will arrive with a fully authentic “Opel Olympia”. The car was a gift from the state to the first European cycling champion. Big interest will cause the only models in Bulgaria of “Jaguar E Type”, “Peugeot 504” coupe, as well as “Peugeot 403” from 1955, restored by the Peugeot representation in Burgas – “Sofia Frans Auto”.
A collector from Burgas will show a fully restored model of “Renault Mona Stella” from 1930 with an exclusively luxurious coupe for its time. New members of the Burgas auto-moto club “Retro” will present their collection of Mercedes.
The start of the parade will be given at 10:00 hours on 4 July /Saturday/, near the Sea casino.
