The first edition of ART FESTIVAL "SEZONI" /Seasons/ will be held from the 2nd to 5th of July in Burgas; it is organized by Municipality Burgas and "Public community center Probuda - 1880 Burgas". The festival continues the tradition of the national competition for young pop are rock performers "Sezoni", which has proved itself as a stage for young talents. The official opening is on 02.07. from 17:30 hours in expo center FLORA.
The festival program includes several competitions, lots of creative workshops and concomitant events. Applications for participation in the competitions have made over 280 children and youths at age from 5 to 19 years.
The participants will perform on two main stages in the Sea garden. In expo center FLORA will open workshops for young artisans. On 2, 3 and 4 July the children will have the chance to participate in competitions for fine and applied arts, and alongside these events they will enter the competition for the prizes of the festival. Again there will be exhibited works of painters and photographers from the whole country, participating in the competition "Moeto usmihnato lyato" /My smiling summer/. After the evaluation and professional opinion of the specialists, the audience will also have the opportunity to vote for any creative work and thus become part of the jury.
Residents and guests of Burgas will watch live the performance of young singers, during the three competitions: National competition for young pop and rock performers; International competition for young pop and rock performers; Competition for performance of songs of Stefan Diomov. Lots of favorite hits will sound, performed by solo performers, duets, trios and vocal groups from Burgas, Varna, Velingrad, Dobrich, Montana, Plovdiv, Pravetz, Parvomai, Ruse, Razgrad, Staza Zagora, Sevlievo, Svishtov, Sliven, Sofia, Sveti Vlas, Targovishte, Troyan, Chernomorets, Shumen, Yambol.
The jury is: Stefan Diomov, Toni Dimitrova, Valentin Penzov, Zahari Chernev, Vladimir Spasov, Maria Chernaeva, Miroslav Stanchev, Krasimira Kraleva, Mina Penkova and Tsanislav Petkov.
The musical marathon will end with a concert on the 4th of July from 19 hours in front of expo center flora, where will perform laureates of SEZONI from the previous nineteen years and the prize winners from this year.
