A unique mini botanical garden appeared in the central region of Burgas. Aiming to preserve the folk traditions in Ethnographic museum Burgas was made a real botanical garden with healing herbs, plant remedies and spices. The modest garden with Bulgarian plants has around 10 different types of spices and herbs. Among them is the healing horseradish, known for its curative properties that help in many cases. Fresh and green alongside him are salvia, basil, spearmint, parsley, hogweed, thyme and the famous Bulgarian savory, used in many national cooking recipes in Bulgaria.

Anyone can get some fresh spices, but not in a rope, like on the markets. Ethnographic museum Burgas offers the herbs and spices in hand made little glass vessels.

For next year from RHM Burgas have taken the decision to expand their mini garden with herbs, by adding more plant types and thus to gather at one place the whole group of Bulgarian spices.
