The festival "Summer Chaos Festival" begins today in Burgas. It will be held on stadium "Lazur" from 16.00 hours today and will finish at 00.30 hours on 18 June. Summer Chaos Festival exists from the mid 90's. It gave a stage and opportunities for development of young Bulgarian rock and metal bands. Nearly 20 years later the festival returns with a different scale and format. The organizers are aiming high and want Summer Chaos Festival to become an emblematic event for Bugars and the whole Bulgaria.
Participating groups: Biohazard, Amorphis, Papa Roach, Godsmack.
Before the start of Summer Chaos Festival, from 14:30 in front of the entrances of stadium "Lazur" will be performed fast and anonymous tests for AIDS in a mobile medical cabinet. The teams in the mobile cabinet are representatives of Regional Health Inspection Burgas and Association "Doza obich" /Dose of love/.
The anti-AIDS campaign is initiated by Municipality Burgas - in partnership with Municipal coordination office on AIDS, Local public committee on AIDS and the National program "Prevention and control of HIV/AIDS".
Teams of volunteers of Municipal youths club "J.J. Cool A", Municipality Burgas and association "Ravnovesie" will give out health-informative materials, fliers and brochures; they will consult their coevals about safe sexual conduct and will motivate the young people to check their current HIV - status. They will popularize the usage of preventive means.
Parallel to this teams of association "Doza obich", fulfilling activities under project "Bumblebees", supported by Bulgarian-Switzerland Program for Cooperation - Fund "Partnership", will give out for free to every visitor of the festival: information materials - 4 kinds - on the topic safe night life, preventive means, ear plugs and water for drinking.
