Fencers from Burgas returned with a medal from Romania

Athletes from the Burgas fencing club "Korsar" returned with a medal from their participation in an international tournament in Romania for children from 9 to 13 years. The event was held in Bucharest; teams from Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, Moldova, Italy and Kuwait took part in the tournament.

The best result was achieved the girls up to 11 years, which competed with over 50 athletes in the age groups. Kristina Milanova won the bronze medal, Mihaela Nikolova was seventh, and Anya Kirova was 15th.

The trainers of "Korsar" said that the young athletes have presented themselves more than befittingly; they have shown character and were not discomposed of the big format of the tournament. Daniela Petkova, Gabriela Zaharinova, Nikola Milanov, Boris Simeonov, Aleksandar Yanev, Georgi Aladjov are the other fencers from "Korsar", who participated in the international tournament.
