The exhibition "Treasures of the Earth" is free only tonight

The exhibition “Treasures of the Earth – crystals and precious stones” can be seen for free tonight. This will happen right after the official opening of the exhibition, at 18:30 hours.

During the other days the exhibition can be seen every day from 10:30 to 20:30. The prices of the tickets for adults are 5 lv., for students 2lv and for pensioners 2 lv. Children less than 7 years and people with disabilities can enter for free.

The exhibition contains rare precious stones from all over the world. Most of them are exotic and are found extremely rare in nature.

Among the most attractive are 9 gigantic crystals from Brazil. The heaviest of them weighs 300 kg. and for the first time leaves the permanent exhibition in Sofia. They are unique in their size and form, which have formed in the span of millions of years in large cracks in the Earth's crust.

Visitors will have the chance to see diamonds from the most famous deposits in the world, rubies from India, sapphires from Russia, emeralds from Bulgaria and Russia, aquamarines from Bulgaria and Pakistan, 65 000 carat crystal topaz from the renowned deposit Volin in Ukraine.
