Saint Anastasia transformed into an Island of poetry

Poetic speech could be heard on isle Saint Anastasia in the framework of the literature reading - competition "Island poetry", organized by Burgas writers' community. Personal works amidst the magic and romace of the sea presented Roza Boyanova, Kalina Teleyanova, Roman Kisiov, Nataliya Nedyalkova, Manol Manolov, Boris Buhchev, Mina Krasteva, Mihaela Naneva, Elena Dremova and Rosen Drumev.

International jury with head Nataliya Matveeva and members Milka Ivanova and Georgi Hristov decided the winner of the big prize for most artistically presented work - Manol Manolov; amont the nominated were Elena Dremova, Boris Buhchev and Roman Kisiov.

The organizers and participants in the event were congratulated personally by the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov. Among the guests of the event were masters of the pen from this year's edition of May meetings of Slavic writers "Svyato slovo".

All the participants in the literature event on the island received honorary diplomas for islanders, as the tradition of one of the most beautiful places in Burgas demands.

At the end of April local writes united in the Burgas writers' community.

Among the aims of the association is to continue the positive literature traditions in Burgas, to protect the interests of Burgas writers and to organize different prestigious creative events like the Autumn literature holidays, Annual review of the books, published by writers from Burgas, National poetry competition "Hristo Fotev".

With the help of Municipality Burgas in the city will be build a Writers' Home with a special museum spot "Hristo Fotev".
