Exhibition of the fifth edition of "National competition Alianz Bulgaria for art, sculpture and graphic" was opened on the 19th of May in the Burgas art gallery "Petko Zadgorski". The competition is under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. In accordance to the regulations in the exhibition are participating painters from the region of Burgas, Sliven, Yambol and Haskovo. The professional jury is: Valeri Vasilev, Krasimir Linkov, Boyko Mitko and Plamen Stefanov; they inspected 168 works of 72 artists.
In the section painting the prize of Alianz Bulgaria went to Aneliya Raykova for her work "Evergreen of the heart". With nominations for participating in the final exhibition-competition are distinguished" Maria Aleksieva, Georgi Dinev, Svetozar Benchev, Krastyu Todorov, Andrey Yanev, Nadya Peovska.
The award for sculpture was won by Dobrin Vatev for his work "Egg". With nominations are: Nikola Stanchev and Ognyan Petkov.
The award for black and white drawing was awarded to Veselin Damyanov - Ves for his work "This is my oasis". With nominations are: Georgi Dinev and Dimitar Karatonev
"National competition Alianz Bulgaria for painting, sculpture and black and white drawing" is part of the cooperative strategy of the company with clear drawn public and social commitments. The initiative started in 2008 with the help of the Union of Bulgarian Painters. The competition is a review of the contemporary art; it does not have any restrictions regarding the stylistic preferences, expressive means, thematic and plot choice. The works are selected by a professional jury, different for every exhibition - famous painters, artisans and cultural figures. This helps for unbiased and objective assessment.
The first four editions of the competition were given a very high rating and wide response by painters, media and the public. According to famous people of the arts, this competition, which is one of a kind in Bulgaria, gives a big review of the Bulgarian art and is one of the most important cultural events in the country.
The exhibition in Burgas will be open until 26 June 2015.
