The Bulgarian team exited the U17 European football championship. But the “little lions” of trainer Aleksandar Dimitrov did it with a head held high. In their third last march from group “A”, the young talents of local football drew 1:1 with the hardy team of Austria on the stadium in Sozopol and thus they won their first point. The goal scorer for Bulgaria was Tonislav Yordanov, who also scored in the defeat against Spain 1:2. The student of the Burgas football academy Valentin Yoskov hit the post twice.
The trainer Aleksandar Dimitrov did not miss to thank the audience in Burgas, Stara Zagora and Sozopol, which supported wholeheartedly the boys during their three matches.
