From 11 to 15 May will be held the National library week. In Burgas it will include several events. Regional library “P.K. Yavorov” will mark in an unusual way the professional holiday of library workers – 11 May. For all who visit the library on str. Bulair N10 from 9:00 to 17:00 hours, there will be presents and surprises.
On 12 may from 18:00 hours in the Cultural center “Sea casino” will be presented the book of Katya Belcheva “Stapala v pyasaka” /Steps in the sand/.
On 13 May the library will join the international initiative “Night of the literature”. On the same date different interesting places in hundreds of cities in Europe short passages of contemporary European writers will be read. From 18:00 to 20:00 hours in the building on str. Aleko Bogoridi students from the school of actor Valeri Elichov will read passages from the play of Peter Handke “The beautiful days of Arandjuez”. The book is suggested by the Austrian embassy.
On 14th and 15th May the library announces the “Days of open doors”. All who wish, can become readers without paying a tax.
