A 20-year-old atlas cedar will please the residents and guests of Burgas. The evergreen tree has found its place in a specially made garden at square “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, where it draws the attention of passing people. The cedar is 10 meters tall, and it weighs 6 tons. The tree was transported with a special equipment, to preserve even its most delicate roots. According to specialists, the tree will need around 2 years to fully adapt to the environment. The initiative is realized by Municipality Burgas.
