Residents and guests of Burgas will have several chances to partake as audience in the Days of Austrian culture and art. Here are the upcoming events of the rich program:
Today, 22 April, from 18:00 hours in the “Sea Casino” will be presented the movie “Everyday rebellion”. The movie is directed by Arman T. Riahi and Arash T. Riahi and has been awarded with many prizes, among them: CPH: DOX`13 – Audience award; 5 Seen Film Festival `14 – award “Horizon”, Bologna`14 – Audience award, CIVIS`14 – award CIVIS of online media, Cinema for peace – The best documentary of the year.
In the program of the Austrian days are included the theatrical play “Love without prejudices” of the students of High school with extensive study in German “Goethe” 4 May from 18:00 hours in Cultural Center “Sea Casino” – hall “Georgi Baev” and a concert of Savka Shopova, Anatoli Krastev and Angel Stankov – 5 May from 18:00 hours, again in CC “Sea Casino” – hall “Petya Dubarova”.
On 8th of May /Friday/ from 19:00 residents and guests of Burgas will have the opportunity to enjoy a concert of the Symphonic orchestra of State Opera house Burgas. In the hall of the Opera under the leadership of orchestra conductor Ivan Kojuharov and soloist Johanes Etlinger , will sound works by Karl Goldmark, Georg Christoph Wagenseil and Franz Schubert.
The project “Bridges”, marking 140 years from the birth of Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke – “One modern cosmopolitan” will be presented on the 11th of May from 18:00 hours in CC “Sea Casino” – hall “Petya Dubarova”. The project presents parts from the poetry and prose of Rilke, inspired by his contacts with other famous artists and people from his time and their works. The poetic-mucis spectacle, presenting parts of the poetry and prose of Rilke, will be presented by Zlatko Gulekov, Radostina Kranteva, Nedko Georgiev, pianist – Blagovesta Ryadkova. Author and moderator of the concert is Maya Slavcheva.
On 13 May from 19:00 a beautiful final of the Days of Austrian culture and art 2015 awaits Burgas, with a concert of Meena Cryle & CHRIS FILLMORE BAND. The Austrian group will perform in hall “Petya Dubarova” in the Casino
