From August 13 for the 7th year the Municipality of Burgas will host one of the largest skate events in Europe - Burgas Skate Open 2021.
The upcoming edition of the Burgas Skate Open will include masters of the board from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Argentina, the Czech Republic, Colombia and Israel. The organizers of the event are the association "Skate Club Sliven", the Municipality of Burgas and Amnesia Skate Shop, in partnership with Red Bull.
The preliminary part of the tournament will take place on Friday, August 13. Between 15.00 and 20.00 on Troikata Square, skaters will go out for a demonstration show. Lots of music and attractive tricks will take the audience's breath away, raising the adrenaline for the main attraction over the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday are reserved for the actual competition, which will be held in the best skate park in our country - "Sunrise" - Burgas. Mostly skateboarders from Bulgaria, as well as several foreign guests will compete in the competition for the prizes. A prize fund is provided to encourage participants to give their best. The competition part will start in the early afternoon and will end by 20.00. The mood of the participants and the audience will be taken care of by a DJ.
This year's edition of the Burgas Skate Open will again have accompanying cultural events. A photo exhibition with the most attractive photos of skaters in an urban environment will be opened on August 13, at 8 pm, and on the last day - August 15 - the youth international event will end with a screening of a skate movie, videos and attractive short videos. The movie night will start at 9:30 p.m.
