In the period 14 - 16 May in Burgas will be held two important events for the tourism sector. Our city will welcome 65 participants from 48 companies in the Information Tour "Go to BURGAS" for tour operators and tour guides from all over the country, engaged in the process of creating and implementing tourist packages. It will feature selected attractions, sports and congress facilities, hotels, restaurants and bars. Infotour is the second for Burgas within half a year and is again at the initiative of the tourist industry in the city, as main partners are "Dinita Tour Bulgaria" Ltd., STTA "Future Association for Tourism", Association "Rafael - Info, Culture & Tourism" , BRTA, Southeastern Union of Guides "Vanya Raykova" - Burgas, etc., with the assistance of the Municipality of Burgas.
On Friday, May 14, the eighteenth edition of the Tourist Fair "Your Vacation" begins at the Exposition Center "Flora". The specialized exhibition is the first for Burgas after the crisis caused by COVID-19. It will start the tourist season 2021. It will feature over 20 participants, presenting various and interesting opportunities for tourism and recreation. The municipalities of Burgas and Varna, Nessebar, Sozopol, Pirmorsko, as well as the resort Sunny Beach will show their ideas for the development of maritime tourism. This year Varna celebrates its 100th anniversary as a resort town.
Eco and cultural tourism will be the focus of the municipalities of Sredets, Kameno, Teteven, Silistra, Strelcha and Karlovo. Strandzha National Park and Zelena Strandzha NGO will demonstrate why the mountain has become a hit for domestic tourists this season. The event is organized on the initiative of the Burgas Regional Tourist Association under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, the District Governor of the District of Burgas and the Municipality of Burgas.
