A new permanent exhibition dedicated to the inhabitants of the World Ocean can now be seen at the Natural History Museum in Burgas.
It opens on Earth Day, celebrated every year on April 22. The exhibition shows the great biodiversity in the seas and oceans, which is also highly endangered by human activity. The main threat to marine life that the museum highlights is the pollution of the world's oceans with waste. Many scientists today predict that if this pollution continues at the same rate, in 30 years there will be more waste in the oceans than living organisms. In order for marine life not to become just a museum piece, it is necessary for people to change some of their daily habits and, above all, to reduce the use of plastic products.

The working hours of the Natural History Museum at 30 K. Fotinov Street are from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 9:00 to 14:00.
