Rosi Chobanova with her first solo exhibition at the Nessie Gallery

Rosi Chobanova, known for her work on the projects of Boulevard - Network of Senses, will present her first solo exhibition at the Nessie Gallery. The exhibition will feature 12 paintings, united by the theme "Fairy Tale". This is the real and very personal tale of the author, inspired by faces and events in her life over the past two years.

The exhibition will be on view on April 21 / Wednesday / at the Nessie Gallery, with a vernissage from 17.00 to 19.00.

Rossi has prepared another surprise for her friends and art lovers. Each painting will be presented with an author's haiku, specially created for the exhibition.

The initiative of the Municipality of Burgas - "Boulevard - a network of the senses", supports artists to revive the artistic heart of the city with a number of interesting events.

Rosi Chobanova was born in 1989. in Burgas.

He studied art and luthiery at the National High School of Plastic Arts and Design "Dechko Uzunov" - Kazanlak, then returned to Burgas.In 2012 he graduated in Spatial Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" In 2015 he graduated in Graphic Design , Illustration and Printed Graphics ”at the Department of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics at the National Academy of Arts.

In 2014 he participated in the exhibition "89 THEN AND NOW" with selected works in Sofia.

Offering its reading of what happened 25 years later, the exhibition kicks off at the Bridge of Lovers in Sofia and becomes a venue for a new exhibition. The exhibition also reaches her hometown of Burgas, as well as cultural institutes and embassies abroad.

In 2014

Participates in Sofia Paper Art Fest with experience at the Amateras Foundation, creating the thematic book, which contains the works and authors of the Paper Fest.

The big event, abounding in exhibitions, lectures, workshops, cinema and theater, extends beyond the capital - in May and September 2014. And the big focus of the festival, which focuses on the book edition, is the connection with Japan - a country that has a significant contribution to paper art.

In 2015, he participated with his colleagues at BolognaChildren’sBookFair in the "BIENNIAL OF ILLUSTRATION".

Since 2016 he has been living and working in the city of Burgas.
