Stars from the team of the film "Petya na moya Petya" will arrive in Burgas during of "Sofia Film Fest on the Beach".

Fans of cinema in Burgas will have the opportunity to meet and talk with the stars of Bulgarian cinema.

A total of 32 films, 20 feature films and 12 short films, are included in the poster of this year's edition.

The prestigious cinema event will be opened with the film "February" by Kamen Kalev and closed with "Petya na moya Petya" by Nikolay Urumov. The festival will be held from March 18 to 26 in the Toncho Rusev Hall of the renovated NHK Cultural Center.

His program was presented today at an online press conference with the participation of Deputy Mayor for Culture, Tourism and Sports Diana Savateva, Prof. Georgi Dyulgerov, Stefan Kitanov-Kita, Nikolay Urumov and Kristina Ingilizova.

"Every city has events that are part of its identity," Sofia Film Fest on the Coast "is certainly on the list of these events with its 19-year history. The new space in which the festival takes place this year is undoubtedly a very important moment in its development, but it comes with even stronger involvement of the Municipality of Burgas, as a co-organizer, "said during the event Deputy Mayor Savateva. She specified that a special team will be created, which will become an integral part of the general team of the festival. The experts from the administration will take care of the good functioning of the communication area and the press center.

"I thank Prof. Georgi Dyulgerov, Stefan Kitanov and the whole team for the efforts in this year's edition to have a strong presence of artists, because this is the salt of every film festival. I am sure that the Burgas audience will like this a lot. I would say that this year's edition is a dress rehearsal for something that all moviegoers and all those dedicated to the cause "Sofia Film Fest on the Shore" are looking forward to the 20th edition in 2022, "Savateva added.

As part of the festival, director Nadezhda Koseva leads a film class that this year is working on the film "Scenes from the Life of an Actress" by Ivan Vladimirov, also part of the festival program.

The focus of the program this year are Bulgarian films. There will also be a free screening of the film of the artistic director of the festival Prof. Georgi Dyulgerov "Measure by measure" on March 26.

Tickets for the festival will be priced at BGN 8 for full-time students, BGN 5 for pensioners and students. They will be sold from March 1 at the box office of the NHK Cultural Center and at the "Chasovnika" box office.
