Despite the rainy summer, the crisis in Ukraine and the World Cup in Brazil - all factors that negatively affect the local tourism - foreign tourists on our coast this summer have increased by two percent.
The most serious is the jump in tourists from Belarus, which increased by 41% compared to 2013. This shows the summarized data of the Burgas Regional Tourist Association (BRTA), collected in the period from April to October.
According to the experts from BRTA the increase is a result of improved services in our 4-5-star hotels, which are preferred by foreign guests.
Positive results have given and the children festivals organized on the Southern Black Sea coast. They are visited mostly by Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, Serbian and Macedonian groups.
