Elite sailors gather in August in the port of Burgas

Sun, sea and suitable wind - all this is present in the Burgas Bay in August and it is enough to make it the capital of sailing. The Port of Burgas is hosting a series of elite sailing competitions, which will be held in the waters of the bay - to the delight of fans of the beautiful and full of adrenaline sport. 

The beginning will be set with the traditional regatta for keel yachts "Port Burgas" in classes: ORC, IRC, Conrad 25 R. It will be held from 7 to 9 August. The races can also be watched from the board of the municipal ship "Anastasia". Special courses from 11:00 on the weekend (August 8 and 9) will offer a sea tribune to the spectacular race on the way to St. Anastasia Island. The jubilee 20th edition of the international regatta "Cor Caroli" is from 12 to 15 August on the route Burgas - Saint Vlas - Varna. The regatta involves keel yachts in classes: ORC, IRC, Conrad 25 R. The start in the first stage on the route Burgas - St. Vlas is at 10:00 am on August 13.

From August 14 to 16 will be held the International Regatta "Port Burgas" - Burgas Sailing Week for children and Olympic classes. The competitions are for classes: Optimist, Laser 4.7, Laser Standard, Laser Radial, 420, 470 and Finn.

The state championship for the youngest sailors in the "Optimist" class, organized by the Bulgarian Sailing Federation, will be held in the Bay of Burgas in the period from August 21 to 23, hosted again by Yacht Club "Port Burgas".
