The Municipality of Burgas is creating a new attraction that will make the city even more interesting. The construction of a Planetarium has started, which will be part of the Children's Science Center in the port area for public access. Located in front of the entrance of the educational center, it will be a spherical metal structure with a modern architectural design and an accessible environment for people with disabilities.

The planetarium will not only be attractive, but also useful. There the children will receive knowledge in astronomy, physics and in general in the field of exact sciences. With its specific shape, the Burgas Planetarium will resemble the one in Bristol and the world-famous bean in Chicago.

Along with the construction, the delivery of specialized high-end equipment for 2D and 3D projections of ready-made multimedia programs has started, which will take visitors on a journey into the Milky Way galaxy and beyond.

The hall will have a capacity of 50 seats, located radially around the center of the 8-meter projection dome, in order to provide an optimal viewing angle.

It is expected soon to be opened the Children's Science Center, located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Sea Station building.
