A white baby rhea took its first steps in Burgas Zoo.
The rheas are a family of large Rheiformes birds. The family includes one genus Rhea with two species - common and Darwinian rhea. They live in the steppes of South America. They are about 1.5 m tall and weigh 50 kg. The color of the feathers is gray. Among the birds there are also albino - with white plumage and blue eyes.
