The work of the researchers in the archeological complex "Aquae calidae" in Burgas continues, announced the head of archeological site Dr. Dimcho Momchilov. During the current archeological season, excavations are being carried out in the northeastern sector of the complex.

"We have construction from the Roman period, we find Roman ceramics. Since the beginning of the excavations this summer we have found over 40 coins, most of which are from the IV century, as well as a lot of mass material from the IV century.

Archaeological evidence of the last late basin from the time of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom appears. We found a pad on which the pool was developed. However, our goal is to study the earliest layers to get down to the primary construction of the bathroom. Reconstructions, conservations and restoration will already be done on it", informes Dimcho Momchilov.
