Interesting facts about the symbols of the city and the folk traditions in the Burgas region will be presented at a free ethno-tour on June 13 /Saturday/. The thematic tourist tour is part of the program of Ethno handmade weekend, organized by the Municipality of Burgas this week /June 12-14/.
The tour starts at 11.00 am from the Clock opposite the Tourist Information Center and will pass through the main streets of the city, where some of the symbols of Burgas are located.
His route also includes the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Cathedral, where a lecture is planned for one of the most famous Bulgarian ethnographers Georgi PopAyanov, who studied the folklore of Burgas. The tour will end at the Ethnographic Museum. A talk about the most important customs of the Bulgarians related to the summer season will be presented in the yard of the cultural site.
Everyone will be able to see the exposition in the museum, presenting the ethnographic groups from the Burgas region. There are exhibited their jewelry and clothing.
