"Biodiversity is important" is the motto of this year's initiative with which Burgas will mark World Wetlands Day. The campaign is organized by the team of the "Via Pontica" Foundation, together with the Municipality of Burgas and the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water - Burgas.
On February 7th, at the "Flora" Expo Center, they will provide an opportunity for all participants in an environmental comic book contest to present their works. An exhibition will introduce to the general public the World Wetlands Day 2020. The campaign will raise awareness among residents and visitors of the city of all sensitive issues and upcoming activities related to the conservation of wetlands in the Burgas region.
