Come to a "Herb Fest"

Saint Anastasia island, as part of the magical Strandzha mountain, organizes a celebration of herbs, folk art and good food and will welcome its guests with folk rituals for health and fertility. More than 50 participants will present herbs and healthy foods, show dishes and healing extracts and ointments, as well as the authentic ways of preparing them in the past. In addition, participants will familiarize visitors with rituals, symbols and folk songs.

The accompanying artistic program will raise the power of the holiday, celebrated from antiquity - Enyovden. Herbal infusions will mix specialists from near and far. Cocktails with herbal extracts will be prepared by professional bartenders. The Miracle of Strandzha, Crimean tea, will find a place in the program like the herb that grows on the island. Cosmetics with herbal products and seaweed will be presented to the guests personally by the manufacturers. On the island visitors will be able to buy fresh herbs for seedlings, beautiful souvenirs and jewelery with herbs and flowers, as well as shirts with Bulgarian embroidery.

The youngest visitors to "Herb Fest" will have fun at creative workshops for soaps, cloth souvenirs and aromatic herbs, and planting. They will include designers from the "Sea Signs" Social enterprise, as well as artists.

A special menu of nettle and dock soup will be prepared in the restaurant "100 years ago". The mussels will be with laurel leaves and fresh lovage, and the chicken with fresh potatoes will be seasoned with thyme, oregano, basil and parsley. Honey lemonade with Crimean tea and fresh mint will hit the summer of 2019.
