For the seventh consecutive year, the "Water Footprint" initiative brings children aged 9 to 13 to the idea that drinking water is the most valuable but most deserted natural resource and we are all responsible for its preservation.
For a month students from the third grade of School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" worked in teams, filled out a special eco diary, painted cards and posters on the theme "Water for Everyone ".
This year the Community center "Izgrev 1909" is organizing the "Water Footprint" initiative in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Bratislava, Slovakia. At the beginning of March, 55 cards, painted with talent, imagination and knowledge of water, traveled from Bourgas to Bratislava with the message:"Whoever you are, wherever you are, water is your human right!” With a presentation and exhibition of those cards, dedicated to water conservation, in Bratislava will be markedthe World Water Day.
On March 22 - World Water Day, at 14.00, an exhibition of hand-made children's posters dedicated to water conservation will be opened at the "Aquae calidae" TC, and the teams will present their work to the public.
