Burgas will mark 80 years since the birth of Nevena Kokanova with photo exhibition, paper premiere and film screenings

On 8 and 9 February /Friday and Saturday/ in Burgas will take place "Days of Nevena Kokanova", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the magnificent Bulgarian actress. Host of the celebrations is Grand Hotel and SPA "Primoretz".

Here's what the program includes:

February 8, 6.00 pm - Georgi Toshev will present his book "Years of Love, Nevena Kokanova". The publisher of the work is "Knigomania". The publication has captured the extraordinary life and career of the great actress, as well as over 250 photos of her daughter, Teodora Sharlandzhieva.

After the literary part, the event will continue with a film premiere. The journalist and producer Georgi Toshev will present his new documentary film "Nevena Kokanova.Journey".

February 9 - Three films with Nevena Kokanova, directed by her husband Lyubomir Sharlandjiev, will be screened during the day.

11:00 am - Karambol, 1966;

14:00 - "The Best Person I Know!", 1973;

17:00 - "Memory of the twin", 1976.

The entrance for each screening is 4 BGN /person.

Additionally, a photo exhibition dedicated to Nevena Kokanova will be exhibited in the period- February 8-15. It will include 30 photographs of the great actress provided by her daughter Teodora Sharlandjieva.
