Who did not dream of being a pilot? Now Aviation museum Burgas gives all its guests the opportunity to explore the newly built exhibition park and to discover the secrets of the "exhibits that come alive". With glasses for virtual reality they can take the role of a pilot on their own aircraft. Impressive is the interactive exposition under the name Homo Volans (The Flying Man), made by stage designer Venelin Shurelov. It is located in the only AN-12 aircraft that have left in Bulgaria. Here you can also sit at the cockpit of the world's most popular one-engine dual-plane aircraft, feel the effect of a working aircraft engine, touch a real black box of airplane and navigation devices that are designed to complete the experience.

Among the newest attractions is the renovated Tupolev plane, known as Tu-154. The reconstruction of the exterior and interior transforms the machine and now everyone can get acquainted with the authentic atmosphere in the passenger lounge. In it an interactive presentation shows the history of Bulgarian civil aviation.

The Aviation museum is located at the entrance of Burgas Airport and is close to "Sarafovo" quarter. You can get there by the public transport (No 15), with bicycle or with a car. During the winter period (October-May), the museum is open from 09:00 until 17:00, from Wednesday to Sunday incl. The ticket for an individual visit is BGN 4, students and pensioners - BGN 2, the family ticket is priced at BGN 8, and children up to 6 years old and people with disabilities enter for free.
