With interactive demonstrations, children will learn about climate change

An interactive demonstration on a sandbox shows the students what floods can bringл A special installation is exhibited at the Children's Department of the Regional Library "Peyo Yavorov".

By "playing" with the special kinetic sand and thanks to special software, kids can "create" relief, make cards and show individually or in groups their knowledge. They can make "rain" and even to erupt volcanoes. The idea is to develop environmental thinking and habits among children and students, to increase their understanding of interrelationships between different ecosystems and the role of man in these processes.

Access to the box at the Children's Department of the Regional Library is free every day from 9.00 to 17.30. For organized visits  a preliminary request is required at tel. 056 86 09 04.
