For another year, Burgas will host the national eco-initiative "Old paper for a new book". Any child who comes with an adult companion with at least 5kg of old recycling paper will receive a new children's book.
This year Burgas will be the first stop of the initiative. Children from the city and region will be able to hand over their papers on September 7, from 10.00 am to 1 pm, next to the Pantheon in the Sea Garden.
The campaign "Old paper for a new book" is held for the seventh consecutive year, and this edition will have five stops - Burgas, Haskovo, Sofia, Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo. The motto is "Clean up and read". It is for children of all ages and aims to educate them both at love for the book and at a responsible attitude towards nature. Annually the events the cities are accompanied by curious activities and initiatives.
