"Aquae calidae" will mark the International Day of chess with tournament and awards

The Chess Tournament "Aquae calidae" will be held for the first time on 21 July /Saturday/ on the occasion of the International Day of this game. The prize fund is 1000 lev and the format is blitz in seven rounds by the Swiss system.

Registration is open until 16:00 on July 20th at: chessburgas64@abv.bg or at 0899941257. The tournament is open without registration fee. Those wishing to sign on the day of the tournament will be charged a fee of 20.00 BGN. The organizers are TK "Aquae calidae" and CK"Burgas-64".

The tournament will also be accompanied by an entertainment program. Only on this day in the tourist complex will be arranged exhibition with valuable collectible chess sets - boards and figures not shown so far in public. Visitors will be able to view a private collection of chess sets containing 120 exhibits and get to know their owner.

From 13:00 on the same day everyone will be able to check their skills in a chess session against sports master Marin Karadimov. The subscription for the participation will be done on site and is free of charge.

Along with the session, a contest for solving chess problems will be held for students from the first to the twelfth grade. For the young winners inthe contest are prepared awards for the team of TK "Aquae calidae".

The award ceremony will start at 14:00. All events are open for free visit.
