Ensemble "Philip Kutev" presents in Burgas the project "Folklore Classics"

The first in Bulgaria professional folklore ensemble "Philip Kutev" will present to the audience for the first time the project "Folklore Classics".

It combines the creative achievements from the creation of the ensemble until the 1990s in order to present to the viewers the eternity of folk art left to us by Philip Koutev, Margarita Dikova, Kiril Dzhenev, Zhivka Klinkova, Ivan Kavaldzhiev, Yordan Yanakiev, Mihail Yordanov, Krassimir Kyurkchiyski ...

The National Folklore Ensemble "Philip Kutev" was created in 1951 by the famous Bulgarian composer Philip Kutev. The Ensemble's mission is to present the vast diversity of traditional Bulgarian folklore culture, presenting it through authentic, processed or composed folklore songs, dances, instrumental plays, rituals and customs.
