Today is Holy Saturday!

Today the Orthodox Church celebrates Easter /Holy/ Saturday. This is the last day of the Holy Week preceding Christ's Resurrection. In the  churches all over the country everyone will be able to touch the Blessed Fire that will be brought tonight by Jerusalem from a Bulgarian church-state delegation.

The Holy Saturday service starts from the morning and lasts until the evening, minutes before the Paschal procession of the cross. The Holy Easter service will be served by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Sliven Ioaniki and the Burgas Orthodox clergy on 7 April, at 23:30 at the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Church.

With a varied holiday program, citizens and guests of Burgas will welcome Easter. Here's what events you can visit today and tomorrow:

On April 7 (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m.in the garden next to the Clock, you can join creative dyeing workshops under the title "Color Palette".

Those who want to make an egg made of gypsum and decorate it by their own taste may visit the "Georgi Baev" Gallery-museum, on 6 "Demokratsiya" Street, again at 11:00 a.m..

On Saturday, in the Aviation museum-Burgas in the quarter of  "Sarafovo" has prepared surprises for its visitors who will be able to participate in the art workshop "Create your Easter egg" from 11:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m., as well as in the fun game "Discover your aviation egg and see what surprises it hides", which will start at 15:00 p.m.

The celebrations will continue on April 8 with a lot of music and mood at " St.St. Cyril and Methodius" Square, where from 11:30 a.m. will start a "Easter" folklore concert. For the youngest, interesting creative workshops, lots of fun and games are prepared.

The residents of the quarter of "Izgrev" will be able to enjoy a festive concert "Easter Folk Dance", which will be held from 11:00 a.m. in "Veleka" Park.

On the same day, at 11:30 a.m., The Burgas Brass Orchestra will join the the festive program with a Easter concert in the garden next to the Clock.
