A new long-term route in Strandja will attract tourists all year round

Club for adventures in the nature "Green Strandzha" starts an initiative for the development of a new long-distance route in Strandzha for pedestrian and bicycle tourism. It will pass through the whole mountain - from the Tundja to the Black Sea, and its goal is to create a permanent, year-round and free flow of tourists through its territory.

The route, with the working name "Tour Strandzha", will start in the town of Elhovo and end in the town of Ahtopol, with a total length of about 150 km. and aims to cover as much as possible landmarks and settlements in the mountain.It will mainly pass through forest roads through beautiful and preserved nature, picturesque settlements and unique sights. The route will take 7-8 days on foot or for 3-4 days with a mountain bike. In addition to the route may be included for visit and sights on the territory of the Black Sea Coast around and south of Burgas.

Each tourist himself will choose the distance he can travel on this route in Strandzha, sights for visit and where to eat and settled on the basis of the information provided, personal preferences, available time and physical capabilities.
