Two days before Christmas - on 23.12.2017 (Saturday), in the multimedia hall of the Historical Museum "Iskra" in Kazanlak will be officially opened the exhibition "Luxury of the XIX ventury", which is a result of the joint project of the Regional History Museum - Burgas and Regional History Museum - Ruse.
The exhibits are part of the collections of luxury objects that were received at RHM - Burgas in 1996 and 2000, after their detention by Burgas Customs, in an attempt to smuggle cultural property through the territory of Bulgaria. In the period 2008 - 2016 the objects are included in the exhibition "Donated and rescued treasures", which for years enjoyed high visitor interest in the hall of the Buurgas Historical Exposition on 31 "Lermontov" Str.

The "Luxury of the XIX ventury" presents the trends and ideas in art from the time of the European Enlightenment, the changes that followed the Industrial Revolution in England, the modernization and development of creative images in the 19th to the early 20th century.
For the third year now the Regional Museums in Bourgas and Rousse have united around the topic "The luxury of the nineteenth century". Thus, the Burgas collection of "saved treasures", in the form of a mobile exhibition, reaches an ever-wider audience.
