Today, we celebrate the introduction of the Virgin Mary, the Day of the Christian Family and Youth

Introduction of Virgin Mary is one of the great ecumenical celebrations. On this day the Church celebrates the day when the infant Mary, doomed to God by her parents Joachim and Anna before she was born, just three years old was introduced in the Jerusalem temple.

This holiday the Church has also accepted as the Day of the Christian Family.Because the family is the best school that can give the first knowledge of God and Orthodoxy, of the Christian virtues that the Bulgarian family has for centuries. This day reminds parents and teachers that they should educate children in godliness and faith, obedience to their parents and purity of manners.

On 21 November - The Day of the Christian family and youth at the Youth Cultural Center will be presented an exhibition of more than 85 drawings and applied works prepared by children from all kindergartens on the territory of Burgas Municipality.
