Macedonian opera singer Marian Jovanoski goes out tonight at 19.00 on the stage of the State Opera Burgas as the ruler Nabucco Nebuchadnezzar. The baritone is known not only in the Balkans, but also in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Daytona Beach and New York. Jovanoski has worked at the Vienna Opera - one of the most prestigious opera institutions in the world, and now the Burgas Opera has the honor of being her soloist.
Nabucco, the third opera of Giuseppe Verdi, is the one that won him the glory of a great composer. It was written in 1841 on the libretto of the famous librettist Themistocle Solera. In Bulgaria the opera it was first introduced exactly fifty years ago.
