Sensational discoveries made in the Black Sea will be presented in Burgas by the research vessel "Havila Subsea", which will unlock secrets for thousands of years back and will be presented today in the sea town. Achievements are part of the Black Sea MAP - one of the largest projects for marine archeology, organized so far. The project aims to examine changes from ancient times into the Black Sea.
60 survivors of shipwrecks have been uncovered for a period of 2500 years. Leading archaeologists are from the University of Southampton. The team of world-renowned marine and underwater scientists will return from their three-year expedition to unlock the secrets of the Black Sea. They will bring with them a collection of amphorae and other valuable artifacts.
