The European Mobility Week is approaching

This European Mobility Week will take place from 16 to 22 September. In Burgas the beginning of the initiatives will be given a day earlier - on September 15, when the children will return to the classrooms for the first school day.
In the Mobility Week, in the center of the seaside city, a series of events will be held to provoke the smallest inhabitants of the seaside community and their parents to use alternative ways to travel in everyday life - bicycles, trotters, rollers , electric car, longboards, public transportation and walking.

On September 15, at 11:00 am, within an hour and a half of the section on "Levski" Str., from "Hristo Botev" Str. to "Stefan Stambolov" Blvd., will be closed for cars. At this intersection, on both hiking paths, kids will give car drivers colorful balloons and preventive brochures presenting the activities of various institutions in the field of road safety.

The Municipal department "Velo Burgas",who is managing the rent-a-bike system in Burgas, will give awards. Chance to receive a gift are most active tenants of the wheels of the system. Prizes will be awarded on September 22 at 11:00 am., in the section on"Levski" Str. between the "Hristo Botev" Str.and "Stefan Stambolov" Blvd.
