The night of Burgas museums will be on May 20th. The entrance is free!

For over a decade, the European Night of Museums has been held on a selected Saturday night around the International Museum Day - 18 May.The Burgas Museum is among the first in the country to participate in the Open Doors initiative at the European Museum Night and this year, on 20 May, for the 13th time, it has prepared a diverse program of exhibitions, which will be presented for the first time to the Burgas audience.

Program:

18.00- Archaeological Museum
- Opening of the renovated exhibition of the Archaeological Museum - Burgas, and a new hall with the expositions "Southern Black Sea Coast during the Middle Ages" and "Archaeological excavations of the Burgas Museum"
-Opening of the exhibition "The oldest gold in Europe:Treasures of the Varna Necropolis"-presented by RHM- Varna
-Opening of the exhibition "Thracian treasure from the village of Borovo"- presented by RHM- Ruse
-Opening of the exhibition "The treasure of Nadsentmiklosh"- presented by RHM-Sofia

18.30- in front of the Archaeological Museum
- A concert of the Brass Bend at the Burgas Municipality

18.30- Historical Museum
Opening of the exhibition "Century of King Ferdinand" - presented by RHM-Veliko Tarnovo

19.00- Ethnographical Museum
-"The games of our childhood" - presentation of forgotten children's games from the 20th century.
