See how Burgas will celebrate

On Easter Saturday /15.04/, at 10:30 a.m., children will be able to participate in Art Workshop "Colorful", which will take place at the “Georgi Baev” Gallery. There children will have the opportunity to touch the magic of decoupage as a technique and to create unique works of decorative art.

On the same day, at 11:00 a.m., in the garden next to the Clock the kids will be able to create in the Art Studio "Colorful Easter". There will be a great Easter tree, which will be decorate with Styrofoam eggs, leaves and colors of paper and nests of chickens.

From 23:30, at the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Cathedral will be held a festive service on the occasion of Easter.

“Burgasbus” reminds that additional B1 and B2 buses will be launched on 15th to 16th April. They will travel free of charge to passengers starting from their first bus stop at 00.00 a.m. and 01.00 a.m. Burgas citizens can travel without being charged only in those hours.

Events continue on Easter with lots of music and entertainment. At 11:00 am in “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” Square, the audience will be delighted to hear exceptionally beautiful orthodox melodies by Bulgarian and Russian composers performed by the Mixed Professional Choir of the Blind “Academician Petko Staynov” with conductor Petar Matev .

At 11:45 a.m. the smallest kids will be able to participate in a Easter puppet workshop and race for the strongest and largest Easter egg.


At 12:30 on the stage of "Cyril and Methodius" Square, "Hot Sand" group will celebrate their 25th birthday and will delight the audience with a concert featuring Toni Dimitrova, Peni Stavreva, Nikolay Raynov and Stefan Nedelchev.

On the holiday will be given 3000 cards with the icon of Christ's Resurrection. They will be sanctified in the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” Cathedral and anyone can take one of them to their home for blessing.

During all festive days, in the space in front of the Exhibition Center “Flora”, can be seen an exhibition of giant Easter eggs. The colorful exhibits were painted by children from Burgas kindergartens.
