The international badminton tournament for deaf gathers in Burgas competitors from 5 countries

From 9 to 11 October /Friday to Sunday/ Burgas will host an international badminton tournament for deaf people.

Applications for participation have been receive from men and women from 5 countries - Ukraine, Greece, Macedonia, Turkey and Bulgaria. Burgas will be represented by Teodor Jekov.

The tournament is organized by Sports club Gluhite "Sports, tourism, health" with the cooperation of municipality Burgas and the Bulgarian badminton federation. The event will be held in sports hall "Nikola Stanchev" in housing complex "Meden rudnik". It is part of the events for marking "Burgas - European city of sports 2015".

The official opening is on Friday at 15:30 hours. From 10:00 hours will start the team competition, and in the two following days - Saturday and Sunday are the competitions for doubles, mixed doubles and individual. The start is at 9:30 hours.

The award ceremony and the official closing ceremony are on Sunday at noon. The organizers will award the best with cups and medals.

The international badminton tournament for deaf people in Burgas is held for the fourth time.
