The new Home of the writer in Burgas will be opened with this year’s edition of Autumn literature holidays on October 1, when the National day of poetry is marked.
A big part of the events from the placard will be held in the new building on str. “Vola”, which was completely renovated and reconstructed for the literature meetings, readings and presentations.
“Long years the writers of Burgas were separated. Thanks to Municipality Burgas, which granted this beautiful house with a nice yard, we now have a place to meet, exchange information and ideas and present our new works”, said the chairman of the United writer’s community in Burgas Roza Boyanova.
There will be also events, which will be hosted by Cultural Center “Sea casino” and art gallery “Petko Zadgorski”.
In the program of the 18th edition of Autumn literature holidays are included 20 events, among which 8 premieres.
New books will be presented Roza Maksimova, Ivan Kehlibarev, Nedyalko Slavov, Katya Zografova, Mina Krasteva, Dinko Dinkov, Mariyana Pramatarova, Milka Ivanova, and Konstantin Koradov.
Songs and poems by Peyo Panteleev will sound on October 7, on October 15 will be marked 135 year anniversary from the birth of the writer Petko Rosen, and on 21 October is the night of Burgas poetry.
There will be thematic nights devoted to marine poetry and prose, to humor and science fiction.
In the program are included two discussions – “The poetry of the past and the present” and “The status of the artist and the global culture politics”.
