Folklore dancing transforms the center of Burgas on Saturday

On October 3rd/Saturday/ club for Bulgarian folklore dancing "Chanove" will transform the center of Burgas. At 12.00 hours, starting from square "Troykata", the talented dancers from the club will entertain the residents and guests of Burgas with an attractive folklore procession, which will pass along str. "Aleksandrovska", and will continue to City Hall. There from 13.00 hours the public will have the chance to watch a special concert on occasion the sixth birthday of club "Chanove".

The event aims to popularize the Bulgarian dance folklore and the activities of the club in the city.

Club "Chanove" and its over 2000 members and representations in eight cities - Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Elin Pelin and Chirpan, is the biggest national club for Bulgarian folk dance in Bulgaria. The club was established in 2005 in Sofia by Milena Gospodinova and Kostadin Gospodinov, and from 2009 has a working representation in Burgas lead by Albena Trendafilova and Sevdalin Trendafilov. It quickly became famous with its methodic and professionalism. In Burgas there are more than 250 members.

In the months of September and October new dancing groups for beginners are being formed. In High school "Konstantin Preslavski" in housing complex "Slaveikov", kindergarten "Zvezditsa Zornitsa" in housing complex "Zornitsa", and from 5 October in Primary school "Lyuben Karavelov" and Studio N8 on floor 4, str. "Uspenska" N8.
