Regional history museum Burgas will mark the holiday of the Unification - 6 September with free entry for all visitors, who wish to learn more about the history and the cultural heritage of the region.
In the archeological exposition (str. Bogoridi 21) the guest exhibitions continue - "Preslav golden treasure", "The golden horse ammunition from Shumen" and "The gold of the northern Thracians". In the museum halls can be seen the artefacts from Burgas, which were a part of the big exhibition in the Louver - "Epos of the Thracian kings: archeological findings from Bulgaria".
The ethnographic exposition (str. Slavyanska 69) offers a view in the world of men in the beginning of XX century. The exhibition "I am Goshko the pretty guy" presents the city man with his daily habits, cloting, accessories and communication surroundings - in the barbershop, in the café or in the tavern, the tailor shop, etc.
The exhibition "Communion bread. Bread and mass" of the National ethnographic museum of BAS (Bulgarian Academy of Science) is placed in the Sacred image hall of the History exposition (str. Lermontov 31), where the visitors learn more about the Christion tradition in Bulgaria.
In the inner garden of the Natural science museum can be seen the last hatched tropical butterflies - the big African butterfly Luna and the South American Owl butterfly.
The working time of the museums in the holiday (Sunday) is: 10:00 - 19:00 hours.
Free of entry will also be the exhibition "Treasures of the old chests" in hall "Al. G. Kodjakafaliyata" of Cultural center "Sea casino" from 10:30 to 20:30 hours. In it is presented the Bulgarian jewel art in the years of the Revival and adornments, as a main accessory in the most important life stages of people from 18th to the beginning of 20th century.
