Burgas will host the biggest skate competition in Bulgaria that has happened in the last few years. The competition is open for foreign competitors. Since the announcement of the event, which happened several days ago, there are already registered skaters from Macedonia, Romania and Belgium. Competitors from other countries are expected, as well as the best Bulgarian skaters.
Organizers of the attractive tournament are Amnesia Skateshop and Municipality Burgas. The place is known - the new skate part in housing complex "Izgrev", near store "Veleka". The competition will have a 2-day program. On September 19 are the qualifying rounds, and on the 20th are the semi-finals and finals. According to regulations the skaters will do one-minute runs to show their skills. There is also a prize fund of 3000 leva. This is the way to attract skillful participants from Bulgaria and abroad for the first edition of Burgas Skate Open. The best 8 runs will receive prizes. A special award will receive the best trick performance.
In the cups of the winners there is strong symbolism. Each has a built in concrete piece, from the construction of the skate park.
