Burgas will host the first Balkan Paralympic tournament of table tennis for men, which will be held on 4 and 5 September /Friday and Saturday. 60 competitors from 5 countries - Macedonia, Romania, Turkey, Montenegro and Bulgaria will compete for the medals. Playing alongside the men will be one woman. Organizers are Bulgarian Paralympics association, Municipality Burgas and sports club "Javelin".
The Balkan tournament is part of the events marking "Burgas - European city of sports 2015".
The competition will begin on September 4th /Friday/ from 10:00 hours and will continue from 18:00 hours. On Saturday the competition is from 9:00 hours to 16:30, when the award and closing ceremony will take place.
Bulgaria will be represented by 20 Paralympic athletes. Three of them are from Burgas. Among the favorites are Denislav Kodjabashev, who is ranked third in the World rankings for tennis players - Paralympic.
