The Bulgarian handball champion "Fregata Burgas" will participate in the 2nd strongest tournament of European handball federation - EHF. The draw assigned as opponent of "Fregata" the champion of Kosovo "Besa Famiglia" Peja in the historic return to the European scene. In the first game on 6 September "Fregata Burgas" will be host, in sports hall "Nikola Stanchev" from 18.00 hours. The rematch is on 13 September from 19.00 in the city of Peja, Kosovo.
"The preparation and organization for the debut participation in Europe began right after the draw. We have 6 new players, which will make the team better. We have watched several matches of the opponent. A totally surmountable opponent. Without a doubt this year we are favorites again for winning the Bulgarian championship and cup "Bulgaria", said the manager of the team Nikola Dobrev.
"The club is developing in the right direction. We do not seek short-term and temporary success. We had the most successful year in the history of the club and all trainers are pumped up to win all tournaments and championships, in which the team participates, to improve on this achievement. I know them well and I know that this is possible. We are all working methodically, thinking about the future of the children, which increase every day.
